The Key Features Of the
Dura5 Duracell Solar Battery

Faster Charging and Discharging

The Dura5 keeps your home powered with market-leading charge and discharge speeds, operating twice as fast as many other leading solar battery brands. This rapid performance ensures you get quicker access to stored energy when you need it most, maximising efficiency and energy independence. With a 1C charge rating, this Duracell home battery can reach full capacity in just one hour of charging. GivEnergy’s built in Smart Technology makes the system ready for Agile tariffs and Smart Grid Trading.

Longer Lasting.

Built with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells, the Dura5 Duracell solar battery offers superior safety, durability, and longevity, making it a reliable choice for long-term energy storage. With a market-leading lifespan of 8,000 cycles, this Duracell solar battery is designed to maximise your investment by delivering consistent, long-term performance, ensuring your home remains powered efficiently and safely.

Automated Savings.

Unlock smarter energy management with the Duracell Energy App, designed to effortlessly maximise your savings. Developed in the UK, the app uses an advanced algorithm to analyse weather forecasts and predict periods of low solar generation. It then ensures your Dura5 battery is fully charged in advance, so you have power when you need it most. Paired with solar and dynamic tariffs, it can help homeowners save up to 90% on energy bills while reducing reliance on the grid.

High Performing.

The Dura-i inverter features an extended MPPT operating range of 70-540V, enabling it to start earlier and operate longer than many other solar inverters. This means you can generate solar power even in cloudy or low-light conditions. In the event of a power outage, the Duracell Inverter’s Emergency Power Supply activates within just 20 milliseconds, delivering an uninterrupted power supply capable of backing up 26.1A (AC) to keep your home running smoothly.
